I have spent my career inside public transport: as Commercial Director at Chiltern Railways, where we doubled revenue from £100m to £200m; as founder of the coach startup Sn-ap; and as Director of Strategy & Innovation at Transport for London. I also originated Mini Switzerland, the national demonstrator bringing Swiss-style integrated transport to the Hope Valley.
I have seen what helps change take root from three different perspectives: corporate, startup and the public authority – and across all transport modes.

I’m here for the Changemakers
Sometimes the job is a big new question your organisation has never had to answer before. Sometimes it’s cutting through the treacle that drains pace from capable teams.
Either way, I help you structure the decisions that matter, challenge your thinking (politely!), and bring evidence from places that have already cracked it. The effect, clients tell me, is a team pulling in the same direction, faster.
Talks and Keynotes
I deliver keynotes, conference sessions and away day talks across the transport world, drawing on twenty years of experience. Audiences leave with tools they can use the next day and I am reliably told they enjoy themselves too.
Leadership Support
I act as a critical friend to chief executives and leadership teams: a sounding board for the decisions that are hard to discuss inside the building. Sometimes that’s a standing relationship over a year; often it’s a series of facilitated conversations to help with a specific moment of change.
Change in Action
When there is a specific problem to solve, I design and run the process that solves it. I bring twenty years of experience into the room, but my contribution is creating the right environment and asking the right questions. The solutions are the team’s – I help them realise they already have the answers and give them the confidence to take decisions they can own.
Reports
I write detailed, factual reports that make an argument: independent, deeply sourced and designed to move a debate forward. One of them, Mini Switzerland, is now a funded national demonstrator.
